Jacqueline is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and particularly enjoys helping clients through their pregnancy and the post-partum period. She has training in pelvic floor assessment and treatment, Labour and Delivery mechanics and support measures, and Pelvic Girdle Pain. Having assisted women throughout pregnancies and the post-partum period Jacqueline is well versed in Pelvic Floor and core re-training including Diastasis Recti (gap in the abdominal muscles), C-section scar management, as well as guiding return to activity.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Studies in medical acupuncture provided a ‘taste sample’ of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Jacqueline was intrigued by the consistent and fast relief acupuncture gave people. This eventually lead to taking a full training in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. It has been shown to be helpful for pain, sleep, nausea, stress relief, digestion and so much more. She has taken some training in Kiiko Matsumoto’s work, which is amazing for creating fast results.
Mindfulness and spiritual growth
Drawing from 20 years of self-development studies and practices in yoga, meditation and mindfulness round out her whole-person, client centred approach. Specifically, Jacqueline has studied Spiritual teachings through Bon Tibetan Buddism, is a certified Kundalini Yoga practitioner through Kundalini Research Institute, and is a current student with Brave Thinking Institute. She has received certification as a Transformational Life Coach through Brave Thinking Institute.
